Sharon Elizabeth Dean Flowers, age 46, of Powder Springs, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday, September 14, 2012, at West Ridge Church in Dallas with Pastor Brian Bloye officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
Sharon was a life-long resident of Powder Springs and graduated from McEachern High School in 1984. She graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta in 1988 with a degree in graphic communications. She was currently employed as a ministry assistant at West Ridge Church, where she was also a member. Sharon was involved with her children’s activities at Vaughn Elementary, Lost Mountain Middle, Harrison High and Dominion Christian Schools.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Flowers; children, Bradley, Beth and Blake; parents, Lester and Betty Dean of Powder Springs; sister, Linda Dean Petrea and husband, Barry of Dallas; brother, Chuck Dean and wife, Ellen of New York, NY; grandmother, Mary Louella Dean of Powder Springs; sister-in-law, Ronda Flowers Hunt and husband, Rodney; mother-in-law, Kathleen Flowers; nieces and nephews, Sarah and Cass Petrea and Haley and Natalie Hunt, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends at West Ridge Church, 3522 Hiram-Acworth Hwy, Dallas 30157, on Thursday, September 13, 2012, from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm.
