Shannon Elizabeth King

Shannon Elizabeth King, 42, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on August 8, 2024 surrounded by family.

Shannon was born on December 14, 1981 to Robert and Joanne Quinn in South Kingston, Rhode Island. 

She went on to graduate from the University of South Florida and eventually obtained her Master's degree.

She had a successful, rewarding and growing career in the digital insurance industry.

In 2015, she married her husband Jason King in Atlanta, Georgia. Their Daughter Ella Rose was born in 2018.

Shannon spent her time devoted to her daughter and husband. She enjoyed reading, working out at CrossFit and watching her beloved Red Sox and Patriots every Summer and Fall.

Shannon was predeceased by paternal grandparents Robert J. Quinn and Gladys Quinn-Loiselle and maternal grandparents Joseph M. Sherry and Doris (Batalon) Sherry. 

She is survived by husband Jason and daughter Ella of Marietta, parents Robert and Joanne of Austell, GA, brother Christopher and sister-in-law Jessica of Dallas, GA, and sister Brianna of Golden, Colorado. 

Services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on August 16, 2024 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Karen Wellington Foundation: https://www.karenwellingtonfoundation.org/donate
