Sarah Shaw

Sarah Bell Shaw, age 93, of Marietta, Georgia former of Burlington, NC passed away October 19, 2018. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by her husband John "Pete" Shaw, Sr.

Mrs. Shaw was a native of North Carolina and spent most of her life in Washington, DC. She moved back to North Carolina in the "90"s where she was very active at Jeffries Cross Baptist Church before moving to Marietta, GA with her son in 2012. She loved to cook, bake, crochet, sew and especially spending time with her family.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law: John and Katie Shaw of Marietta, GA; two daughters: Necola Shaw of Washington, DC and Erma "Goldie" Jones of Burlington, NC; 2 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
