Sarah June Price, age 77, of Mableton, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, February 10, 2014, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta with Rev. Richard Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
A life-long resident of Cobb County, Ms. Price retired from Hartford Insurance and most recently Century 21 where she worked as a real estate agent. She was a member of Concord Road Baptist Church and a volunteer at Tranquility Hospice in Austell.
Ms. Price was preceded in death by her son, Joe Smith. Survivors include her children, Dennis (Debbie) Smith of Cedartown, Tracey (Randy) Newton of Powder Springs and Dana (Daniel) Casey of Dallas; siblings, Ann (Richard) Boone of Powder Springs, Libby (Walt) Carter of Seneca, SC, Joe “Buddy” Alexander of Powder Springs and Pam (Robert) Cardone of Fountain Hills, AZ; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 9, 2014, from 6pm-8pm.
Memorial contributions can be made to WellStar Community Hospice at Tranquility, 4040 Hospital West Drive, Austell, GA 30106.
