Sara A. Johnson

Sara Ann Johnson, age 82, of Marietta, Georgia passed away November 22, 2022. She was born in Atlanta and lived in the area throughout her life. She graduated from Campbell High School in Smyrna and attended Chattahoochee Technical College.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby C. Johnson; companion and longtime friend, Donald Glade; and her parents, Walter and Mary (Hales) Light. Sara is survived by her two daughters Sherri Foster of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Vicki Schrotter of Marietta, GA; her granddaughters, Jennifer (Jordan) Baugus and Abigail (Jon) Allen; great grandchildren Kinley, Kade, and Maclane.

Sara was well-traveled, a meticulous homemaker, and talented seamstress. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, bird watching, and arts and crafts.

There will be a Celebration of Life held in her honor at a later date. Memorial gifts can be made through donations to the Alzheimer's Association in her name.
