Sara Florine Marlow Leggett
December 10, 1918 — February 7, 2013
Sara Florine Marlow Leggett, age 94, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 with her loving family surrounding her. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, February 16, 2013, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta.
Sara was born in Alabama and grew up in Cedartown, GA. She moved to Toledo, OH in 1945 to work for the Willy’s Jeep Corp. on the assembly line for 30 years. She retired to St. Petersburg, FL in 1977 and made it her home until 2008. At the time of her death, she was a resident of Bethel Gardens Assisted Living.
She is survived by her only child, Patricia Sneath; grandchildren, Patti Keim Rakestraw, Elaine Lynn Brose, Bill Keim and Carrie Kromenacker Collins; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren (and two on the way) and sisters, Hazel White and Jewell King.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10am until the service.
