Sara M. Cole

Mrs. Sara M. Cole (Serafine Maria Oliverio), age 82, of Acworth, GA passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 5th from 2pm until 4pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 4pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Rodney Hunt officiating. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony in the funeral home’s reception area and pavilion. She will be interred at the Georgia National Cemetery at 11:30am on Monday, August 7th. For those wishing to attend the committal service, please gather at the funeral home by 10am.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Mrs. Cole moved to Cobb County 19 years ago from Kissimmee, FL. She worked for the American Red Cross, and was a member of Northstar Church, and participated in a weekly Bible study. She also enjoyed tennis, overall fitness and had an extreme love of animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Roland Cole, her father and mother, Caterina Laquinta and Salvatore Oliverio, and siblings, Rosie Cortese, Carlo Oliverio and Johnny Oliverio.
