Samantha Castles Deaton

Samantha Castles Deaton, age 71, of Marietta, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, November 26, 2012, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Brian Alexander officiating. A native of Mississippi, Ms. Deaton moved to Marietta 48 years ago. She was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister, Flonnie Dobson. Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Ann Temple Leger and husband, Rick of Hiram, and Barbara Lynn Temple of Douglasville; siblings, Jimmie Lee Aycock of Enterprise, MS, Bobbie Spears of Austell, Lillian Boughner of Marietta, Jack Castles and wife, Ann of Parker, FL and Buddy Castles and wife, Wanda of Powder Springs; grandson, Christopher Paul Leger and wife Carla of Dallas; great grandson, Alexander Paul Leger; former spouse, Thomas Temple of Lillian, AL and many loving nieces and nephews.
