Ruth Ann Turner

Ruth Ann Turner, age 81, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away May 4, 2024. Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia with John Hollner, III officiating.

Ruth was a native of Indianapolis, IN and lived most of her life in Powder Springs, Georgia. She retired February 22, 2015 from Macy's Department Store. She enjoyed baking different types of cheesecakes and key lime pies, she traveled to many different countries and several cruises. She was a memeber of the American Legion Auxillary and she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include: husband of over 50 years Thomas L. Turner of Powder Springs, GA; two daughters: Teresa (Herbert) Skojac-Henry of Shalimar, FL, and Tamara (Dain) Payton of Wetumpka, AL; two sons: Anton Skojac of Port Clinton, OH and Derek (Jessica) Turner of Dallas, GA; ten grandchildren: Norman J. (Kathy) Paulsen, Joseph Skojac, Leah Henry, Britney Skojac, AJ. (Miranda) Skojac, Justin (Courtnei) Payton, Jared (Andrea) Payton, Macey (Cam) Phillips, Emma Turner and Zakary Turner; five great-grandchildren: Ambrose Skojac, Levi Skojac, Miles Skojac, Beatrice Sue Skojac and Luka Payton.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
