Rufus M. Robinson

Rufus Moyd Robinson, Jr., age 87, of Austell, GA passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Austell with Rev. Jeffery O’Neal and Rev. Susan Allen-Grady officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs. He will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.



Born in Columbia, SC, Mr. Robinson moved to Austell, GA in 1966. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after over 30 years of employment, and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served during WWII. He was a dedicated member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mary Sue Robinson.

3 Sons: R. Mark Robinson, Maypearl, TX

David R. Robinson and wife Janice, Powder Springs, GA

Bruce E. Robinson and wife Patricia, Canton, GA



5 Grandchildren: Andrew Robinson, Ryan Robinson, Alicia Robinson, Jacob Robinson

and Mitchell Robinson
