Ruby Doris "Dot" Ramsey

Ruby Doris "Dot" Ramsey, 93, passed away on March 27, 2025, at her residence in Kennesaw, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband William Ramsey, son, Michael Ramsey and Grandson, Tommy Harrison.

Ruby was a native of Atlanta, Georgia and spent the last 23 years of her life in Cobb County. She was of the Baptist Faith. She loved gardening and making her yard look as pristine as possible, cooking and especially spending time with her family. Ruby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother.

She is survived by five daughters, Sandra Braswell, Brenda (John) Holcomb, Deborah (George) Alvarado, Kathy Ramsey and Cindy (John) Painter; two sons, Steven Ramsey and Ricky Ramsey; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Private family services are being held at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia. Burial will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, Atlanta, GA.
