Mrs. Roshida R Rawlins Alexandre, age 38, passed away on December 21, 2021 in Kennesaw, Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta.
Born on November 8, 1983 in Christiansted, St. Croix US Virgin Island, Roshida spent most of her childhood in Daytona Beach, Florida. She attended Lake Howell High School in Casselberry, Florida and after spending a couple of semesters at the University of Central Florida, she transferred and earned a bachelor's degree from Kennesaw State University. She had a wide range of interests including travel, YouTube, real estate and everything regarding her daughter Aubery. She developed a love for Korean TV Drama after living and teaching in South Korea. While in South Korea, she was able to travel to Tokyo, Japan and Taiwan. After returning home, Roshida continued her exploration of the world by visiting London, England and Paris, France with her daughter and mother.
Roshida was a loving and devoted wife to Yves Alexandre and a dedicated and loving mother to Aubrey Alexandre. She will reside in the hearts and minds of her loving family including her mother, Glenda Boddie; father, John Rawlins; brothers, Reuben Rawlins, Corey Cooper, Jaden and Taheim Rawlins; sisters, Nikisha, Jasmine, and Leticia Rawlins; aunts and uncles, Evanson Matthew, Mervel Carr, Sonia Matthew, Ann Matthew, Jilian Matthew, Rayford Matthew, Denese Boddie, Stacy Boddie, Eva Rawlins, David Rawlins, Jaquelyn Rawlins, Hyacinth Williams and Iantha Vanterpool; as well as a large extended family of cousins, in-laws and close friends.
