Rose Marie Short, age 75, of Canton, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Northside Cherokee Hospital in Canton, GA. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at St Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Woodstock with Father Larry Niese officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.
Born in San Jose, CA on June 7th, 1945, Mrs. Short was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Woodstock. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Morocco.
She is survived by: 3 children, Diane Boyles (spouse: William Boyles), Jeff Short (spouse: Rhonda Short), and Suzanne Florence (spouse: Ed Florence); 2 siblings, Frances Zimmerman and Buddy Morocco; 6 grandchildren, Anna Boyles, Victoria Florence, Noah Florence, Samantha Boyles, Andrew Short, and Brody Short.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Online guest book at www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
