Rose Marie Higman, age 91, of Marietta, passed peacefully on June 29, 2020. Family Graveside service will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
Rose Marie Higman, was born ,March 6, 1929, in Springfield, MO. They moved to Georgia in 1976 and lived in Dunwoody, GA. They attended Dunwoody UMC. They were part of the Mall Walker group at Perimeter Mall after retirement. Rose Marie moved to Marietta in 2017 to be closer to her family after the death of husband, Charlie.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charles Dean Higman, Sr, her son Christopher David Higman, her parents, Ben and Rosa Miller, and her sisters Ruth DeGeere and Ruby Miller.
She is survived by her son, Charles Dean Higman, Jr. (Mary Jane) of Marietta, and grandsons, Charles Dean Higman, III (Lindsey) of Austell, Kyle Peacock, Kasey Peacock, and Corey Higman, all of Marietta.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
