Marie Arnsdorff

Rose Marie Collins Arnsdorff, age 88, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away September 2, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs with Dr. Richard Walker officiating. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Harold E. Arnsdorff and son Alan Arnsdorff.

Marie was a native of Savannah, GA where she spent many years and was the Legal Secretary for Mayor Mingoldorff. She was the second runner-up in the Miss Savannah Pagent. She loved crafting, singing in the choir, and spending time with her family and friends. Marie married Harold Arnsdorff and moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL where she spent many years raising her family. She loved teaching computers with the Senior Education services and was a member of Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA where she has spent the last 10 years.

Survivors include: daughter: Debra Arnsdorff (Jimmy) Walker; one sister: Evelyn Durrance; brother: Randall Lynwood (Linda) Collins; six grandchildren: Kristina Lee Ciaffi, Katie Walker, Joseph Dustin Arnsdorff, John Collins (Hannah) Walker, Jacob Lee Walker, Jared Scott Walker and Shelby Rose Arnsdorff; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs.
