Steve Carroll

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steve Carroll Jr., age 60, who left us on January 19, 2025, due to natural causes. Born on August 3, 1964, in Atlanta, GA, Steve spent most of his life in the warm community of Powder Springs, where he created countless memories with family and friends. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Steve graduated from McEachern High School in 1982, then served in the United States Navy for 5 years. Afterwards, he went on to have a dedicated career in Inventory Control with Staples, where he was a valued and faithful employee for nearly two decades. Known affectionately as the family IT specialist, Steve enjoyed his time working with computers and was always ready to fix any tech problem that came his way.

He attended Macland Baptist Church. Steve will be remembered for his kindness, quick wit, and unwavering support for those he loved. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Steve Carroll, Sr.

Steve is survived by his beloved mother, Vera Carroll, Powder Springs, GA; brother, Scott (Kelly) Carroll, Carrollton, GA; nieces and nephews, Nathan (Jerica) Carroll, Marietta, GA, Shelby Carroll, Florida, Jacob Carroll, Carrollton, GA, and Hadley Carroll, Carrollton, GA.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Floyd Memory Gardens in Rome, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Macland Baptist Church for their music ministry. Steve's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He may be gone, but the love and memories he shared will remain with us forever.
