Ronald William Stevens

Ronald William Stevens, age 69, of Marietta, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road in Marietta with Rev. Lamar Rackley officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. A native of Atlanta, Mr. Stevens was a graduate of East Atlanta High School and a Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Joyce Fabrication and was also involved with the East Atlanta High School Reunion Committee. Mr. Stevens was a member of Martha Brown Methodist Church in Atlanta. Survivors include his mother, Jean Stevens; children, Pamela Gayle Collins of Lithia Springs and Thomas Daniel Hicks of Newnan; sister, Melanie Chamberlain of Ft. Collins, CO and grandchildren, Jackson Russell Collins, Grant William Collins, Kirsten Isabel Hicks, Carson Andrew Hicks and Kylie Joy Hicks. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
