Ronald David "Ronnie" Moon, age 78, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 3, 2020 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Gary Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.
A native and lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mr. Moon moved to Dallas, GA 13 years ago. After attending Georgia Tech, he worked for and retired from Electrolux Vacuums after 42 years of employment. He was a former member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and current member of West Cobb Church.
Survivors include: Wife, Frances G. Moon; 4 Children, Judy (Richard) Norris, Diane (Bill) West, Felicia (Tommy) Threlkeld and Mike Duncan; Step Father, Norris Jarrett; Sister, Linda Bradley, 5 Grandchildren, Jason (Amanda) Norris, April Martin, Natalie (William) Osbon, Austin (Nate) West and John Michael Duncan; 6 Great Grandchildren, Oscar Martin, Olivia Martin, Emma Norris, Luke Norris, Colby Osbon, and Grady West; 1 Great-Great Grandchild, Josiah Ebanks.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ronnie Moon's memory to the Calvary Children's Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 3, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Online guest book at www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
