Roger Keith Hamilton

Roger Keith Hamilton of Dallas, GA passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the age of 82. After several months of declining health, Roger died peacefully of natural causes in the comfort of his bed.

Born and raised in Hawthorne, CA, Roger was a lifelong lover of music and sports. He was the choir director of Lawndale Christian Church and star pitcher of the softball team. One of his true loves was playing the trumpet. Roger toured with the USO and performed at several Southern California nightclubs in his early years. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in music at California State University and was employed as a paper salesman for 30 years.

Roger was the son of Keith and Lois Hamilton and is survived by his wife of 61 years, Connie, daughters Linda and Karen, their spouses Adam and Thomas, granddaughter Sarah, and sister Carol. He was a wonderful provider and a loving husband, father, and friend. He was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

At Roger's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, he asked that friends and loved ones privately celebrate his memory in their own ways. He will be with us all in spirit.
