Robert Sturgies Sr.

Robert Lee Sturgies, Sr. age 75, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Friday, April 3, 2020. The family will inter him Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
Mr. Sturgies served in the US Military as a First Sergeant for 30 years. He belonged to the 82nd Airborne Army Division. He loved gardening as a hobby and he loved spending quality time with his children and grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his loving spouse, Andrena, Two Sons, Robert Lee Sturgies, Jr. of Kennesaw, GA, Daryl Avery Sturgies of Marietta, GA; Two Daughters, Eugenia Rochelle Sturgies of Powder Springs, GA, Kimberly Nicole Tyson of Marietta, GA; Sister, Barbara Evans of Heath Springs, SC; Brother, John Sturgies of Charlotte, NC; Four Grandsons, Daryl Avery Sturgies, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, Joseph Sturgies of Charlotte, NC, Micah Grier of Charlotte, NC, Isaac Kindle of Kennesaw, GA; Four Granddaughters, Jordan Sturgies of Kennesaw, GA, Isabella Sturgies of Kennesaw, GA, Madison Tyson of Marietta, GA, Grace Tyson of Marietta, GA; .
He was preceded in death by Father, Birdell Sturgies, Sr, Mother, Sallie Mae Sturgies, Brother , Douglas Sturgies, Brother , Birdell Sturgies, and a Sister, Evelyn Byrd.
