Robert John Kennedy, age 73, of Marietta, Georgia passed away January 16, 2021. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA with Deacon Bruce Reed officiating. He was preceded in death by his son Brandon Scott Kennedy.
Robert was a native of Covington, KY and has lived in Cobb County the past 37 years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marietta, GA. He loved coaching his sons in sports, loved his fishing boat even though he never fished. He was a helper of man kind and he especially loved his family.
Survivors include: wife: Sandee Kennedy of Marietta, GA; two sons: Casey Ryan Kennedy and Dustin Wade Kennedy; two sisters: Karen Gardner of Indepenence, KY, Donna Parker of Independence, KY; brother: Butch Kennedy of Independence, KY; four: grandchildren: Gabby Kennedy, Anna Cifton, Landon Shields and Donovan Wells; niece: Rhonda Lainsey; nephews: Sean McLean, Jeff Marksberry, Brian Marksberry and Adam Caldwell.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA.
