Robert Jones Jr.

Robert Jones, age 93, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away October 14, 2018. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 19, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Jones.

Mr. Jones a native of South Carolina lived in Augusta, GA and spent most of his life in New York City before moving Douglasville, GA 12 years ago. He loved sharing his faith with others, photography, gardening, making jokes, and especially spending time with his family.

Survivors include: daughter: Melanie Balogun of Douglasville, GA; two sons: Keith Jones of Lynn, MA and Robert Jones of Boston, MA; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
