Robert Lee Hunt

Robert Lee Hunt, age 72, of Marietta, Georgia passed away at the Augusta University Medical Center on Monday, February 14, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Bro. Mark Patterson officiating.

Born in Roxie, Mississippi, Mr. Hunt lived in Cobb County for the past 32 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He worked in construction, and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses East Powder Springs Congregation. He is preceded in death by siblings, Richard Hunt Sr., White Apple, MS, Brenda Ann Norman, Atlanta, GA, and Lillian Lorraine Watkins, Roxie, Ms.

Survivors include: Wife of 48 years, Yvonne B. Hunt; 4 Children, Sabrina Hunt of Marietta, GA, Sharon Webster of Decatur, GA, Katrina Hunt of Austell, GA, and April (Henry) Hunt-Shivers of Marietta, GA; 9 Siblings, Troy (Edgar) Davis of Jackson, MS, Darlene (Charles) Upton of New Orleans, LA, Arnetta Pickett of Roxie, MS, Ivory Jo Hunt of Jackson, MS, Danny Dale (Belinda) Hunt of Port Gibson, MS, Clarence Norman of Atlanta, GA, Richard James Norman of Mexico City, Mexico, Faye Morgan of Roxie MS, and Milton (Sophia) Morgan of Miami, FL. ; 9 Grandchildren, Katelyn Hunt, Kaya Hunt, Michael Jones, Keyonta Hughs, Henry Shivers, Ayanna Shivers, Shederia Presley, Jasmine Webster, and Xavier Webster; 4 Great Grandchildren, Cayden Huntley, Rahmel Franklin, Nylah Webster, and Malachi Scott; Aunts, Maggie Buckles of Roxie, MS, and Mammie Hammond of Gulfport, Mississippi; Uncle, Jo Buckles of Gulfport, MS, and a host of nieces and nephews.
