Robert William Hagemeyer, Jr.

Robert William Hagemeyer, Jr., age 63, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022. A Memorial Service will take place at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Nicholas Pepper officiating.

Born in Trenton, Michigan, Mr. Hagemeyer moved to Sandy Springs, GA in 1972. After graduating from Riverwood High School in 1976, he attended Georgia Tech where he received his degree in Business Management. Bob worked for Waffle House, Inc. as a store manager and district manager and later joined Papa Johns Corporation serving in those same positions.

Bob is survived by his wife of 26 years, Shelia Chesser. Bob is also survived by two sisters-in-law: Susan Hagemeyer of Macon, GA and Beth Holcombe (Alan) of Dallas, GA and brother-in-law, Barry Randall of Omaha, Nebraska. Also surviving are three nephews and three nieces: Jay Randall (Kim) of Powel, Ohio; Kevin Randall (Jessica), of Cramerton, NC; and Keith Randall of Omaha, Nebraska; Mary Beth Burns (Eddie) of Dallas, GA, Anna Hagemeyer of Macon, GA; and Emily Heath (Jon) of Canton, GA. Bob was also blessed with having three grandnieces (Morgan, Ava, and Eleanor) and four grandnephews (Rhett, Calan, Major, and Baker) in his life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert Hagemeyer’s memory to the American Heart Association, or your local animal shelter.
