Robert Figueroa

August 11, 1974 — December 26, 2022

"What we have once enjoyed we could never lose. For all that we love deeply becomes a part of us!"

Robert Figueroa was called to eternal rest on Monday, December 26, 2022. He passed away peacefully at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Tia of twenty eight years, his beautiful daughters Jennifer, Kiyana and Rebekah Rae, his adorable grandchildren Mekhai, Olivia and Sofia, his doting mother Kathy, three siblings Rose, Ray and Rachael, a great extent of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, inlaws, life long friends, professional colleagues and a host of others.

Robert was born on August 11, 1974 in Queens, NYC. In 1992, he graduated from Saint Aloysius Highschool in Jersey City, NJ. Robert began his career as a Security Guard in Rickles. When Rickles closed, Robert found employment at Marshalls in Loss Prevention. He climbed the Corporate ladder and became a District Loss Prevention Manager for TJX. He dedicated over twenty years of his life to his job. Robert loved the career path he chose and took pride in every milestone and accomplishment...major or minor. He often recited *the one thing this career taught me is that...it is not about how much you know...what really matters is how much you care!*

Supportive in so many ways, Robert was an intuitive problem solver who took on difficult and unwanted projects at work and at home. He was a devout family man, the glue of the family, life of the party, a Gentle Giant. Every person that came in his presence was blessed by Robert's sense of humor, hospitality and wisdom.

His big heart matched his enthusiasm for entertainment. Always giving his time to others, Robert's house and kitchen was always open. He welcomed family, friends and friends of friends. Hungry or not, Robert always fed everyone who entered his home. Genuine hospitality was certainly not his weakness.

Besides the most important focus of his life....the love for his family and friends, the simplest pleasures in life brought joy to Robert. He had a passion for planning and hosting some of the best parties, fishing, grilling, traveling, music, dominoes, the game of chess, an array of card games, watching the New York Giants play football and the New York Yankees play baseball.

Robert had a sensitivity and passion for the Lord. He operated with the mindset "GOD FIRST!" He often referred to himself as "BLESSED" and served as a vessel of blessings. He brought love, joy, comfort, solace and happiness to everyone.

A heart of gold, Robert was living proof of God's love. He was the epiphany of a GREAT and INFLUENTIAL MAN who fulfilled his divine assignment. His laughter, jokes, spirit and talents will be greatly missed by the abundance of people whose lives he touched.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8!
