Robert Carlton Connell

Robert Carlton Connell, age 81, of Marietta, Ga passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016. A Memorial Service will he held 11am Saturday, October 1, 2016 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dr. Richard Walker officiating.
Born in Tifton, GA, Mr. Connell moved to Marietta 20 years ago from Atlanta. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and retired from the State of Georgia as a Rehab Counselor. He enjoyed playing ALTA and volunteering for hospice care. Bob was a soft spoken man with a sweet gentle spirit who loved his wife, Nancy, and his children dearly. He was gifted with a great sense of humor to the very end! He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Etheridge Connell and Eva Mae Folsom; a son, Robert C. Connell, Jr.; brothers, Homer Etheridge, Jr. and Harry Russell Etheridge.
