Robert Pritchett Cheatham

Robert P. Cheatham, age 86, of Marietta, GA passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Monday, June 8, 2015 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Johnny Foster officiating. Interment will follow on Tuesday, June 9th at 2pm at West View Cemetery in Wrightsville, GA.

Mr. Cheatham was born October 9, 1928 in Macon, GA and was the son of the late Elbert Hutchings Cheatham, Sr. and Lucille Blackwell Cheatham Sasser. He served in the United States Air Force from 1946 to 1949. In 1953, he moved to Marietta to work for Lockheed Martin, retiring in 1990 after 36 years of employment. He also was an active Cobb County real estate broker for many years, founding his own firm, The Realty Exchange. Mr. Cheatham was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Rowland Cheatham, and seven siblings.

Daughter: Nancy Joyce Cheatham Brock and husband Allen of Marietta, GA

Son: Rowland Arthur Cheatham of Atlanta, GA

6 Grandchildren: Philip Brock, Alison Brock, Will Brock, Sasha Cheatham, Simone Cheatham and Celine Cheatham

And many Nieces, Nephews, extended family and friends.
