Robert Cason

Robert W. Cason, age 98, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 18, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Chaplain David Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

Born in Cartersville, GA, Mr. Cason lived in Cobb County for most of his life. He retired from Bell Bomber and Lockheed as a Flight Line Test Mechanic after over 36 years of employment. He served as a Mason for over 70 years, most recently at the Kennesaw Masonic Lodge 33, FandAM. Mr. Cason loved playing the guitar and was a member of the Fingerstyle Pickers Club, and enjoyed gardening, camping and traveling. He was preceded in death by his wife of 76 years, Mary Catherine Susan Watkins Cason, a son, Robert William "Billy" Cason, a granddaughter, Susan Amanda Smith, and a grandson, Robert Marshall Smith.

Survivors include: 3 Children, Dale Cason Noble, Kennesaw, GA, Pamela Cason Smith and husband, Larry E. Smith, Elberton, GA and Randy Cason and wife Cindy Cason, Powder Springs, GA; 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
