Rita Sue (Susie) Huchingson

Rita Sue (Susie) Huchingson, 71, died Friday, Nov. 7 with her children by her side. Susie was born July 7, 1943 in Anderson, IN to Lester and Grace Thias. Susie lived in Alexandria until sickness required her to move south to be with children. In Alexandria she worked for Gaither Family Entertainment and retired while living in her childhood home.



Susie is survived by her children, Lisa Priest, Rhonda McHenry, Jack Wisener, Marty Wisener and eight grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Carol Crawford (Anderson, IN) and Vicki Parker (Elwood, IN) and several loving nieces and nephews that meant so much to her. She also leaves behind lifelong friends and Alexandria neighbors Sonny and Lynda Odom. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Huchingson and son Gregory Scott (Scottie) Wisener.



Susie’s final resting place will be with her son Scottie that died at age 5 in 1979 at Crestview Memorial Park in Hot Springs AR. Services will be announced to family and friends at a later date.



Even in sickness, Susie maintained her strength and faith right up to the end. She is no longer suffering and in the arms of her Savior with sweet Scottie by her side. Online Guestbook available at www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
