Rita Glynn Haynes, age 64, of Marietta, GA passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta with Dr. Randy Cheek officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.
Born in Canton, GA, Mrs. Haynes lived most of her life in Marietta. She retired as the Deputy Clerk from the Cobb County Superior Court after 29 years of employment, and was a member of the Elks Lodge.
Survivors:
3 Children: Glena G. (Barry) Weeks, Boyle, MS, Barry Dean (Kim) Haynes, Jr., Choctaw, OK, and Michele (Erik) Kurth, Marietta, GA; Half Sister, Sue Brawner, Dallas, GA; 5 Grandchildren, William Barry Weeks II, Mary Margaret Weeks, Joshua Haynes, Julie Haynes, and Jace Haynes.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wellstar Community Hospice, 4040 Hospital West Drive, Austell, GA 30106. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home. Online guest book @ www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
