Rick James Hanson

Mr. Rick James Hanson, age 57, of Marietta, GA passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Thursday, April 19th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta with Father John Walsh officiating.



A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Hanson moved to Marietta in 1981. He graduated from Clemson University in 1977 with a BS in construction management. He worked for Jacob’s Engineering as a Project Manager for 12 years. He was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and enjoyed coaching little league baseball and soccer, riding motorcycles, and playing the banjo.

Daughter: Erin Wust and husband Chris, Athens, GA



Son: Ryan Hanson and fiancee Ariel Napier, Smyrna, GA



Parents: Richard and Margaret Hanson, Seneca, SC



Brother: Dana Hanson, Jefferson, GA



Sister: Marilyn DeLoach, Monroe, GA
