Richard Allen Pratt

Dick (Richard) Pratt 83, originally of Syracuse, NY died Friday, September 10, 2021 in Atlanta Georgia. Dick lived the majority of his life in DeWitt NY and the greater Syracuse area. For the past 9 years, Dick had been living near his two sons in Cobb County Georgia. Dick had a long career working for Bristol Myers Squibb in Syracuse NY as a purchasing agent before retiring in 1994.

Dick loved music and appreciated detailed workmanship in all things. Dick himself was a talented woodworker who spent much of his free time over his life in his woodshop, creating beautiful pieces including one of a kind, intricate clocks.

He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren in both Syracuse NY and Atlanta GA. Dick was predeceased in 2011 by his beautiful wife, Sharon J. Pratt, and his precious granddaughter, Logan Pratt.

Surviving are his three children, Brett Pratt (Shelia) of Atlanta GA, Kirk Pratt (Kathleen) of Atlanta GA, and Cristy Bobbett (Matthew) of Syracuse NY. Dick is survived by his brother, Robert Pratt (Helen), of Canandaigua NY. Dick is also survived and loved by his 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family has requested donations to the Francis House 108 Michaels Ave, Syracuse NY 13208 in lieu of flowers.
