Richard Van Hemby, age 87, of Mableton, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Memorial Services will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Inurnment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton at a later date.
A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mr. Hemby retired as a Labor Foreman with the Georgia Power Company after 38 years of employment. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during WWII. He also was a member of the American Legion, and enjoyed fishing and dancing.

Rhonda Hemby, Marietta, GA
6 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren
