Richard William Cannon, age 76, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
A native of Atlanta, Mr. Cannon moved to Marietta in 1969. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam War. He worked as a salesman in the electronics industry until his retirement, and loved working on cars as an auto mechanic. He was also a member of Fortified Hills Baptist Church.
Survivors include:
Wife of 56 years, Joyce Gaynes Cannon, and many loving Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard Cannon's memory to the American Kidney Foundation @ www.kidney.org . The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 28th from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Online guest book at www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
