Richard Carl Benefield

Richard C. "Rick" Benefield, age 64, of Dallas, GA passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 17th from 5pm until 7pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
Born in Albertville, AL, Mr. Benefield grew up in Powder Springs where he graduated from McEachern High School. He moved to Dallas, GA in 1988. He owned and operated Benefield Contracting for over 30 years, and he enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Sylvan and Clora Mae Benefield and brother Ray Benefield.
Survivors include: Wife of 43 years, Kelly L. Benefield; 3 Sons, Jason (Brandi) Casteel, Shane (Sarah) Benefield, and Chad (Luisa) Benefield; 2 Sisters, Carolyn Williams, and Judy (Aaron) Beck; 7 Grandchildren, Colton Casteel, Tanner Casteel, Callie Popoloski, Collin Popoloski, Connor Benefield, Katherine Del Benefield, and Sylvie Benefield; Great Granddaughter, Shadley Casteel; Mother-in-Law, Barbara Casteel, and several Nieces and Nephews.
