Rhonda Bird Beasley, age 47, of Powder Springs, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018. She was born March 10, 1971 in Athens, Georgia to Frank M. Bird and Jean N. Carr. She was a loving wife and mother. Rhonda graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and employed by Tom Barrow Company. Rhonda had a quiet spirit with a devoted heart of service to the children of her church. She was a member of First Baptist Church Powder Springs, where she gave of her time and efforts to teach children for over 15 years. Those who knew her were blessed because of her unwavering loyalty, true selflessness, and steadfast faith.
Rhonda will be lovingly remembered by her husband: Greg Lee Beasley; daughter: Lauren Abigail Beasley; and step daughter: Afton Isabelle Beasley; Father and stepmother: Frank and Von Bird of Commerce Georgia; Mother and stepfather: Jean and Eugene Carr of Bogart, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law: Kelly and Teresa Bird, and their children, Savannah and Ford Bird; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Gary Beasley, Jr, and Debbie; brother-in-law: Gary Beasley, III, and his wife, Tonya, and their children, Madison, Griffin, and Merritt; brother-in-law: Gavin Beasley and wife, Ashley; aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
Rhonda’s Memorial Service will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11 A.M. at First Baptist Church Powder Springs with Pastor Mike Woods officiating.
