Retha Ruth Holmes

Retha Ruth Holmes, age 90, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away July 26, 2020. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Powder Springs, Georgia.

Mrs. Holmes enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved having beautiful flowers in her yard and watching hummingbirds while sitting on her front porch.

Mrs. Holmes was preceded in death by her husband Quinn Ray and parents, Thomas and Mary Sexton. She is survived by children, Wayne Holmes, Susan Denton, Barbara Baggett and Molly Metcalf; grandchildren, Denise Jones, Kelli Holmes, Matthew Holmes, Jason Melton, Allison Wilkins, Jennifer Robinson, Benjamin Baggett, Cody Metcalf, Casey Metcalf and Jessy Metcalf; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
