Rebecca Leslie Horton

Rebecca Leslie Horton, age 40, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019. A Graveside Service will be held at Central Baptist Church Cemetery in Douglasville, GA at 11am on Monday, January 21st with Rev. Spencer Haygood officiating.

Born in Dekalb County, Rebecca lived most of her life in Cobb County. She graduated from Pebblebrook High School in 1997, then went on to the University of North Carolina, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree. She was preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Juanita Horton, and her grandmother, Jean Horton.

Survivors include: Father and Step Mother, Al and Sally Horton, Marietta, GA; Sister, Misty (Thomas) Brown, Dallas, GA; Brother, Chris (Christy) Horton, Dallas, GA; Step Brother, Brock (Teresa) Sale, Douglasville, GA; Paternal Grandfather, Hugh A. Horton, Sr., Douglasville, GA; Aunts, Deborah Horton, Douglasville, GA and Renee (Garry) Costner, Bowdon, GA; and many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

The family will recieve friends Sunday, January 20, from 3-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital @ www.stjude.org .
