Randall (Randy) Charles Rollin, age 74, of Winston, GA passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at WellStar Paulding Hospital.

Randy was born on September 7, 1949, in Oscoda, MI to Arnold and Fay Rollin.  Shortly thereafter, the family moved to the Tawas, MI area where he grew up.  After graduating from Tawas Area High School in 1967, he served in the United States Air Force.  While stationed overseas, he found the love of his life- Min Chu.  They were married on May 8, 1972.  Together they lived in Okinawa, Japan before coming to the United States where they lived in Michigan, Montana, and Florida before settling down in Georgia in 1983. After leaving the military, he learned the skill of a machinist and worked in the tool and die industry for many years.  He also joined the Air Force Reserves for some time as well.

In his baby book, his first favorite toy at 1.5 years old, was a hot rod car.  Randy’s love for cars and motorcycles continued throughout his entire life.  As an adult, there were not many other sports that interested Randy, unless he was watching his daughter play soccer when she was in high school or his wife playing softball with her work team or later his youngest granddaughter playing rec softball.   He was always their biggest fan.  He also always enjoyed hanging out with his family and celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, or holidays.

Randy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Min Chu of Winston, GA; his only daughter, Jo Marie Chastain (husband- Brian) of Douglasville, GA; his granddaughters, Taylor DeLozier (husband- Blake) of Dallas, GA and Mallory Chastain of Buchanan. GA; one sister, Virginia Rollin of Clio, MI.  Randy was preceded in death by his father, older brother, Raymond and his mother.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at 4751 Oakleigh Manor Drive, Powder Springs, GA  30127, on Saturday, June 29, from 2pm-4pm.  In lieu of flowers, please donate in Randy Rollin’s memory to The American Lung Association.
