On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, Randy Connally of Powder Springs at the age of 62 was called home to be with the lord. Graveside Services will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
Randy was a graduate of Mceachern High School in Powder Springs. He also attended Diesel Mechanics School in Tennessee. Randy lived most all of his life between Powder Springs and Canton. He was retired from Lockheed Martin in Marietta after a 38-year career for which awarded him many accomplishments. In his free time Randy enjoyed building street rods and most notably completing his 1957 Chevrolet Belair. Randy also enjoyed traveling with his wife and hanging out at the beach with his family and friends. Randy cherished family more than anything and loved every minute spending time with his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Even though we may have lost Randy, he will most certainly not be forgotten. He will live in each one of our hearts forever.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Selena Connally; 2 sons, WJ (Heather) Harper, Cumming, GA and RJ (Kimberly Harper, Acworth, GA; father, Al Connally, Marietta, GA; 3 siblings, James “Kenny” (Debbie) Connally, Powder Springs, GA, Sandra Karen Churchill, Dallas, GA and Jimmy (Anita) Connally, Rockmart, GA; 3 grandchildren, Sophia, Elijah and Eliana.
