Ramon Ruiz

Ramon Ruiz, 51, of Powder Springs, passed away September 3, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday, September 9, 2011, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. The family will receive friends from 8am until the service. There will also be a funeral mass on Saturday, September 10, 2011, at 12:30pm, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Smyrna with interment at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9am-12pm. Born in Mexico, Mr. Ruiz had lived in the area for the past 16 years. He was employed as a machine operator with Herman Miller and was also of the Catholic faith. Survivors include his wife, Lucila Ruiz; daughters, Jessica Ruiz of Powder Springs and Leidy Diaz of Kennesaw; sons, Ramon Ruiz, Jr. of Powder Springs and Eric Diaz of Kennesaw; 2 sisters; 1 brother and 3 grandchildren.
