Ralph W. Pannell

Ralph W. Pannell, age 88, of Marietta passed away Friday, May 2, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, May 5, 2014 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Rev. Larry Ritch and Rev. Jimmy Elzey officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park with Military and Masonic rites.
Mr. Pannell was a life-long resident of Marietta. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was a member of Hill Street Baptist Church. He was a retired foreman for Georgia Power, a member of the IBEW Union and loved deep sea fishing in Panama City, FL.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Pannell and is survived by his daughters: Cathy (Terry) Hodge of Marietta and Connie Pannell of Marietta; 2 grandchildren: Joshua (Jeni) Wigley of Cartersville, Adam Hodge of Marietta; 3 great-grandchildren: Cattabrie Wigley, Connor Wigley, Jessi Wigley; sister-in-law, Inez Ray of Acworth and brother-in-law, L.C.(Cookie) McCollum of Cobb County
