Phillip Scott Wilson, age 56, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Kelly Cohea officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.
A native of Cobb County, Scott graduated from McEachern High School. He worked for the United States Post Office, retiring after 34 years of employment. He also loved playing golf, was an extremely enthusiastic Georgia Bulldog fan, and enjoyed playing in the Christian rock band, Dream Awake, with his sons.
Survivors include: Wife, Shelley L. Starr-Wilson; 2 Sons, Jake (Stephanie) Wilson, Temple, GA and Zack (Corie) Wilson, Winston, GA; Step Son, Forrest Starr, Beaufort, SC; Parents, Winnie and Phillip Wilson, Marietta, GA; Sister, Amy (Terry) Allen, Dallas, GA; 3 Grandchildren, Olivia Wilson, Micah Wilson, and Copeland Wilson; Niece, Chloe Allen; In-Laws, Bill and Terry Cohea
