Philip Vincent Loria passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2020. He was the loving husband of Laurel Loria. Phil and Laurel would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in November. We take comfort in knowing that Phil is now completely healed and in heaven with his personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Born in Whippany Park, NJ, Phil was the son of Vincent Philip Loria and Betty Jane (Loria) Bonapartian. Phil graduated from University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He was a Kappa Sigma and maintained lifelong relationships with his fraternity brothers from UNCW. Phil worked in the hospitality industry and was employed by SYSCO/Guest Supply as a Director of National Accounts. He was a master at developing and maintaining relationships with his colleagues and customers.
Phil enjoyed spending time with his family, watching and playing golf, as well as supporting all Georgia/Atlanta sports teams. Phil never knew a stranger and was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know him. He enjoyed taking care of his own yard and could often be found chatting with neighbors as he cut the grass. He was intensely proud of his wife and children and spoke often of them with his customers. Phil and his mother, sister and nieces, all of North Carolina, had close relationships and he talked with them often.
He is survived by his wife, Laurel, and 4 beautiful children, Anna, Lauren, Grace, and Asher of Marietta; his mother, Betty Jane Bonapartian, sister, Debbie Wade, nieces Kathleen Sable and Casey Morand, and nephew Sean Wade, all of North Carolina. He was predeceased by his father, Vincent Loria.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a small family memorial service honoring Phil's life will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta at 3pm. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
