Peter Inesta

Peter Kevin Inesta, age 53, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, December 14, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta.

A native of New Jersey, Mr. Inesta moved to Marietta 29 years ago. He graduated from St. Mary's of Ostrabrama and South River High School in South River, NJ. He proudly served in the United States Navy during Operation Desert Storm, serving on the USS Virginia as a Nuclear Propulsion Plant Operator, later becoming an Electrical Engineer. He also worked for Staples as an Electrical Engineer, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus with St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta. He was a proud father to Vinny, coaching his baseball teams and helping him to become an Eagle Scout. Also, anyone who knew Kevin knew his love for animals was boundless, as he took in numerous dogs and cats in his lifetime. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Inesta and Rosemarie Dembinski, a brother, Tracey Inesta, and an aunt, Claudia Dembinski (all of South River, NJ).

Survivors include: Wife, Myra Smith Inesta, Marietta, GA; Son, Peter Vincent "Vinny" Inesta, Marietta, GA; Uncle, Stan Dembinski, Wirtz, VA; Cousins, Sonya Lovett, Branchburh, NJ and Samantha Cruz, Manville, NJ; Sister-in-LAw, Marsha Denton, Newnan, GA; Mother-in-Law, Marion Vorel, Marietta, GA; Brothers-in-Law, Max Smith, Griffin, GA and Steve Smith, Newnan, GA; Many Nieces and Nephews and his beloved dogs, Gabby and Sabrett.
