Peter C. Fitch

Peter Clark Fitch, Jr., age 75, of Kennesaw, a born again believer, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on October 22, 2013, at 11:15pm. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, October 25, 2013, at Macland Baptist Church, 3732 Macland Road, Powder Springs, with Dr. Richard Walker officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rick Pensa’s Sunday School Class (Old Joy Class-Burnt Hickory Baptist Church). The family will receive friends at the church on Friday for one hour prior to the service. Burial at sea will be held at a later date.



Mr. Fitch was born in Greensboro, NC and was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from AT&T after 39 years of employment. He was a member of Macland Baptist Church.



Survivors include his wife, Jo Fitch of Kennesaw; stepdaughter, Cindy (Ronnie) Hudson; step-grandchildren, Jacob, Luke and Hannah; sister, Kay Cole of Jacksonville, FL; nephews, Mark (Kim) Cole and Steven (Melanie) Cole and many other relatives and friends.



In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Macland Baptist Church Building Fund.



West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, is in charge of the arrangements.
