Peggy Sue Taylor, age 72, of Powder Springs, passed away, Saturday, May 31, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Trinity Chapel Church of God in Powder Springs with Bishop Jim Bolin officiating. She will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta.

Peggy Sue was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and of the Christian faith. She and her family have been faithful members of Trinity Chapel for over 20 years where Peggy Sue enjoyed volunteering as a greeter. She worked in the Accounting department for Summit Industries before retiring.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Alice Heaton and is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bobby G. Taylor and children: Felicia (Jim) Lang of Powder Springs, GA, Rodney G. (Lorrie) Taylor of Powder Springs, GA and Jessica (Kevin) Gerhard of Dallas, GA; siblings: Kenneth Wayne Heaton “Cotton” of Hampton, TN, Betty James of Elizabethton, TN, Carol McClain of Hampton, TN; 9 grandchildren: Aaron Lang, Caleb Lang, Alex Taylor, Nicholas Taylor, Brendan Taylor, Madalynn Gerhard, Kaley Gerhard, Jewel Gerhard and Maximus Gerhard.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta. Online Guestbook @ www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
