Peggy Joyce Smith-Vaughn, age 87, of Austell, Georgia passed away December 6, 2018. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 10, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta with Bro. David Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.
Mrs. Smith-Vaughn was a native and life long resident of Cobb County. She was Owner/Operator of Earl Smith Flooring Company in Smyrna, GA. She loved the beach, gambling and spending time with family.
Survivors include: husband: Jack Vaughn; two daughters: Earlene Jones, Judy (Phillip) Vodas, son: Richard (Sandra) Smith; sister: Norma; brother: Stanley; three grandsons: David (Rachael) Jones, Kevin (April) Jones and Nathan Vodas; three granddaughters: Christina (Steven) Vodas-Howard, Dasha (Mark) Ritter, Meghan Smith, step daughter: Angie Vaughn step-granddaughter: Shanna Salcedo and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
