Peggy Cochran

Peggy Henry Cochran, age 72, of Mableton, Georgia passed away Monday, January 30, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Living Stone Church in Marietta with Bishop Grant Cole officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 4th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the church prior to the ceremony.

Born in Atlanta, Mrs. Cochran grew up in Columbia, SC, then moved to Mableton, GA in 1981. She attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, and afterwards became an ordained minister. She founded the Women's Aglow Chapter in Marietta, then founded In His Great Love Ministries, recently retiring after over 30 years of service. She was a member of Living Stone Church in Marietta, and enjoyed cooking and feeding family and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Clifford Paden Cochran.

Survivors include: Husband of 52 years, Carroll Joe Cochran, Sr.; 3 Children, Carroll Joe "Jay" Cochran, Jr., Powder Springs, GA, Christopher David Cochran and wife Stacie Hood Cochran, Mableton, GA, and Amanda Lucile Wilkes and husband Wesley Chan Wilkes, Marietta, GA; Brother, Mark Henry and wife Diane Henry, Columbia, SC; 17 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
