Pauline Thrasher

Mary Pauline Thrasher, age 80, of Austell, Georgia passed away June 12, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church in Hiram, GA with Rev. Ken Martin and Rev. Garland Odom officiating. She will lie in state from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents William D. and Geneva Martin, brother Charles Martin and sister Alta Mae Martin.

Mrs. Thrasher was a native of Douglasville, GA and long time resident of Austell, GA. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church where she worked for a long time in the Church Nursery and was a cook for the Church for funeral and shut ins.

Survivors include: Husband of 53 years Roy C. Thrasher of Austell, GA; one brother: William D. (Margaret) Martin, Jr. of Villa Rica, GA; three sisters: Martha Croy of Doughlasville, GA, Roberta Satterfield of Douglasville, GA and Sybil (David) Bell of Austell, GA; sister-in-law: Lanae (Tommy) Martin Boyd and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory at 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA 30064.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Pauline Thrasher's memory to Grace Baptist Church at 5790 Powder Springs Dallas Road, Hiram, GA 30141.
